I've been illustrating custom maps for Southbound Magazine's 'On the Road' series since 2021. Each edition features a curated road trip itinerary from editor-in-chief Kevin Benefield and I bring the journey to life with detailed, vibrant maps. Cristina Villa Hazar, the design director, guides the layout, size, and color palette to tie everything together. As a subsidiary of Atlanta Magazine, Southbound stands on its own as a regional magazine with national recognition and has become a go-to resource for travel, food, drinks, and lifestyle under Kevin's leadership. It’s been an amazing (and at times, jealous) experience contributing to this award-winning publication and I’m excited to see where the road goes next!
