Lollapalooza 25th Anniversary

Lollapalooza is the grand daddy of music festivals. Working with the fine folks at C3, I had the chance to create a bunch of limited edition merch for this milestone year which was a proper extravaganza at 4 days instead of the usual 3. Working with my partner Briana, I illustrated a custom "Lollapalooza" lettering mark that was incorporated into designs that took inspiration from Chicago’s iconic Clarence F. Buckingham Memorial Fountain in Grant Park and the city’s famous Bean (Cloud Gate) sculpture. As a central part of Chicago’s history, Lollapalooza has become more than just a music event—it’s a celebration of the city’s spirit. And the tenacity to party in the rain. The end result was a collection that fans could embrace as a unique and lasting memento of the festival’s legacy. Radiohead was also the headliner that year - can’t get much better than that.
